Beach Access and Parking
Entry to the beach is free. Scooter riders can park on the street about 50 m before the statue without charge; closer in, there’s a fee. Car parking is usually plentiful except during festivals or major events, according to visitor notes from Google and TripAdvisor. Toilets are on-site with standard tourist pricing.
Sunrise, Sunset, and Sea
Early risers come for soft light and calm waters; sunset brings photographers, couples and day-trippers. Boats, Cafés and Vendors

Vendors may approach politely; some travellers recommend a simple “no thanks” if not buying.

For some, it’s a quick photo stop; for others, a place to linger with friends, enjoy live music from nearby restaurants, or watch local dogs wander the sand in the evening. Several visitors call it plain or poorly kept, while others value it as the start point for tours and the reminder that these waters are home to Bali’s dolphins.
