Ubud is Bali's traditional art hub — Neka Art Museum, ARMA, and the Blanco Renaissance Museum are the anchor institutions with permanent collections of Balinese painting and sculpture. Contemporary galleries have emerged in Canggu and Seminyak catering to international collectors and the expat community. Most galleries are free to enter; some charge IDR 20,000–50,000. Gallery hours are typically 9am–5pm, closed during Nyepi and major Hindu holidays.
