Despite feeling like a jungle hideaway, reviewers say you’re only around 7–10 minutes by bike or car from Uluwatu’s beaches, cafés, clubs and shops. Several note that backroads up to the resort are steep, unlit and potholed, and it’s not really walking distance to restaurants. In return, you get quiet nights, birdsong in the morning and a cozy, well‑lit atmosphere at night that people compare to a wellness retreat rather than a standard hotel.
